Longest Movie Ever - The Cure For Insomnia
The longest movie ever, according to the Guinness Book Of World Records, is ‘The Cure For Insomnia‘. It is directed by John Henry Timmis IV and was released in 1987. It runs for 5220 minutes (87 hours!!!) and has no plot whatsoever. The film mostly consists of the poet, L.D. Groban, reciting his own poem which is 4,080 pages(!!!!) long and has clips of pornography and metal music videos inter-sliced into his reading.
The film was basically an experiment designed to reprogram the biological clocks of insomniacs so they can sleep again. I would love to find out what the results of the experiment were and who suggested this is a movie in the first place?
