School for Scoundrels - Review
A loser, Jon Heder, enrolls in a secret class that makes winners out of people like him. The class is taught by Dr. P, played by Billy Bob Thornton, and his assistant Lesher, played by Michael Duncan Clarke. Things get weird when Dr. P starts competing with Heder for the same girl.
Jon Heder plays the usual part he is most comfortable with - a loser, so we do not get to see anything special from him. Billy Bob Thornton is very unbelievable (not in a good way) in his role. You get the idea that he acted in this movie just to make some extra money and he never really had an interest in the movie or the script but then who could blame him.
The movie just keeps getting silly as every minute passes by. This movie had a lot of potential in the first 10 minutes but from then on, it starts losing it. There are 2 or so funny scenes throughout the whole movie that would make you laugh but you could probably catch that on youtube.
I would give this movie 4.5 ‘parking violations’ out of 10.
