Disturbia - Review
Admittedly, I was surprised to have enjoyed this movie. It definitely helped to have David Morse and Carrie-Anne Moss cast in supporting roles.
The storyline was quite believable… which is a rarity these days. I find that most writers try too hard and end up overdoing it, to the point where the storyline dabbles in the fantasy realm.
Shia LeBeouf portrays your everyday spoiled American teenager - even without the life altering trauma his character suffers in the beginning of the movie. There are even a couple of times when you want to slap him, it’s likely that these are the points in the movie where the realism hits home for me.
I’d rate this movie 6 “Big Wheels” out of 10, something worth watching, but not worth paying the theater for.
