LOST: Who Is Daniel Faraday?

Last night’s episode certainly had a Daniel focus. Where were Jack and Kate we wondered, as each segment came back around to Daniel.

The creators had indicated that last season and this season we would begin to see answers to the many, many questions this series has presented. Based on last night’s episode, it would seem that Daniel Faraday is as important to the reality that is LOST, as are Benjamin Linus and John Locke.

The introduction of the H bomb was an uninteresting turn of events for this viewer, as was the US military who supposedly brought it. However, the recognition of Charles Widmore as a young man certainly caught more than a fleeting glance.

I wonder though, will they ever explain the giant 4 toed foot? How any shipments get in and out of this unfindable island? Who Jacob is? And why the hell dead people there interact with the living? Ah, all in good time I’m afraid. One slow week at a time. Pity, I could get hit by a bus before I learn the mysteries of the island.

Update: Could Charlotte be Daniel’s daughter?  Perhaps with Theresa?
