Demi Moore goes Indie
Demi Moore has signed on for 2 indie movies. The first one, Happy Tears, will see her play a woman who often indulges in self-aggrandizement. When she returns to her home in Wisconsin, she is forced to deal with her bitter and not-so-nice sister and her father who suffers from a mental disorder. Joining Demi in this movie will be Parker Posey. Happy Tears is written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein, the writer and director of ‘Teeth‘ and ‘Resurrection‘.
The second movie, Bunraku, will star Josh Harnett and Woody Harrelson along with Demi Moore. Written and directed by Guy Moshe, Bunraku is about a man (Harnett) on a revenge quest which snowballs into a much bigger task than he expected and Demi plays the enslaved concubine of a warlord. Interesting.

So you have been checking http://www.film-industry.biz already?
I only put one link at WTP..
Wow…we have used similar language too. I will take this as a compliment
Nice site, is this yours as well. I love the design too.
Thanks, yes, it’s currently not very active yet. I will, if everything works out, really ‘go live’ tomorrow.
Thanks for submitting your site in the directory.
Good luck James!
Oh dear, I hope that warlord doesn’t mean Gackt, because that would be beyond odd. I’m amused that no english articles have mentioned him yet. Gackt’s immortal as a rock star in his native country and also many countries abroad, and done decently well recently on the small screen there as well, so I hope this movie’s half decent so as to not kill the trend.
Thanks for posting more info on Bunraku!
Hello, I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I’m working on a new cable TV show In Ohio that will support independent film makers films and trailers.
the show is call Reel Indie Films, films made by REAL independent film artists.
It will be a 30mins show that will broadcast other film makers films and show their work on cable TV.
We would like to turn the show into a 1 hour long show, giving us a lot of time to show even more films from independent film makers, the 1hr. show will go in production later in the summer 2008. For now we are producing the 30 mins show.
I’m looking for sponsors and other support groups that is willing to help with the show or submit independent films to the station for viewing to be broad casted.
If you think you could be of any help…I hope to hear from you soon, if you have a short film you would like to submit, we’ll welcome it also.
Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
