Yes, it’s true, this movie has been recycled, but that’s the way of the future, isn’t it? A sign of the times as they say. How many new, original concepts can they create anyways? I figure in another 20-30 years everything will be either a remake, something about sex with robots/aliens or about genetic mutations. Otherwise, it’s all ‘been there, done that’.

This movie offered some chuckles, as it was funny to see the stiletto on the other foot, but not worth venturing out to the theatre and spending cash on, not in my opinion at least.

The movie had such a limited impact on me that I am struggling to remember the name of the female lead… this rarely happens. Patrick Dempsey however, is a bit tougher to forget, given his killer smile and ‘oh my god’ eyes.

The supporting cast was rather bland, aside from the role of Colin, played by Kevin McKidd, who has also starred in the series Rome and is rumoured to be coming up in Bunraku with Demi Moore.

I give this movie 4 trail mixes/potpourri dishes out of 10. If they had have called it My Best Friend’s Wedding Part 2 it would have scored higher.
