Corner Gas Closing

Brent Butt announced this morning on Canada AM that they will begin taping the final season of Corner Gas this summer. He made note that there would be no fancy final episode, just the standard 22 minutes of hilarity.

When asked about the possibility of a Corner Gas The Movie, Butt did not shoot the idea down and commented that it had be tossed around already and he was definitely in if it were a go.

    Although I’ve only seen an episode or two, it’s sad to see another truly Canadian show finishing up.

    My husband falls asleep to this show everynight… it’s his favourite… our DVR is jammed up with repeated episodes… a sad day indeed.

    I think the movie idea will be a flop… vis a vis Trailer Park Boys
