Prison Break Loses It’s Head
I’m not sure that I can find the appropriate words to describe my thoughts surrounding Prison Break’s intention to bring back the character Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) in the forth season, now that the issues with her contract have been resolved.
If you are a Prison Break fan, which we stopped being in season 2, you may recall that Sara was decapitated in season 3. Both Lincoln and LJ confirmed that Sara was dead, and Lincoln is shown glancing at her severed head in the box.
The producers are claiming that it wasn’t Sara’s head afterall, and that Lincoln just glanced in the box, in the dark, and couldn’t really make a positive ID.
My thoughts are that this show has lost all credibility, and can now consider itself as bad as the soaps, where characters make miraculous recoveries from certain death, and many times return from the grave as often as they wed one another. Why does Hollywood treat us so disrespectfully? Surely we are intelligent enough to see through this pathetic attempt to regain this shows lost ratings!

Got something to say?
Makes you want to wish that the writers just stayed on strike and not come back for this kind of garbage.
I’m a BIG Prison Break watcher, and I can’t believe this bit of info got passed me without me hearing about it! I’m quite surprised that their bringing back Sara, since it appeared like you mentioned, a done deal that Link saw her decapitated head.
It was also my understanding the actress took a vacation/left the show because of being pregnant in real life, but I hadn’t heard about it being about contract issues.
It’s still one of my fav shows…..but I do hope they won’t get too crazy or out there with the show.
