Four Christmases

Funny.
If you’re looking for a seasonal comedy, this one shouldn’t disappoint. Vince Vaughn was his usual, bucket of laughs and then some. He’s such a goofball.
The story’s focus is on a 30 something unmarried couple who love the holidays, especially when spending them without their families. This Christmas due to an untimely gesture by Mother Nature and an intrusive news crew, the couple are forced to endure some quality time with their mom’s, dad’s, siblings and respective step parents.
I didn’t really buy Reece Witherspoon as Vince’s love interest, too much Elle Woods thrown into this character. If you see the movie, I’m quite sure you’ll see what I mean, just watch her contemplative moments.
Lastly, there is one scene where Vince has to play a serious moment with Reece, thankfully it was at the end of the movie, because it was definitely not believable. lol Sorry Vince, but you might as well have been saying, “I love to eat rabbit turds”, infact that I might have bought.
Overall, this movie is not too, “the meaning of Christmas”, or “be kind to others”, etc… it’s just funny with a seasonal backdrop. I give this movie 7.5 ‘$10 dollar limit Christmas gifts’ out of 10.
